What is this all about ?
The idea/concept:
"In the age of Digital Revolution, a company can either be product centric pushing like gates, throwing discounts and offering coupons, making every single attempt to make consumers buy their product (not BRAND) or it can be consumer centric building a Relevant Consumer Brand which speaks to its audience online (social media channels) & offline by inculcating a strong & relevant compelling product story into its communication plan. The relevant product story is an attempt to make consumers experience and engage the brand and make them move to the next level where they adore the brand and advocate it to others. That's when a Meaningful Conversation with users spark a Product Story which is relevant and hence shared by consumers turning it into a Brand Tale (Word of Mouth Marketing).

StoryTeller No.1
Darpan Jain : Three years back, while pursuing his Masters, he came across this beautiful thing called "Branding/Brand Management". What sparked then was a year long journey of experimenting everything which was their common interest including how Sound/Music could affect Brand Recall & Recognition (Sonic Branding) & photos to study & depict consumer behavior (Photo Ethnography). He first decided to put this relationship to test while working as an Online Marketing Manager for an International Magazine (New Global Indian) and got covered in Local Newspaper for the campaign. The six month journey was an eye opening experience.
Lately they have decided to engage socially, and thus he became a "Brand/Social Media Strategist". He now enjoys working as a Freelance Strategist for Agencies and Brands, crafting brand stories and ideating on communication plan so those stories are well accepted, remembered and retold by the consumers on social media channels. Ultimately trying to position and buy a space of consumer's mind affecting their Top of the Mind Recall.
Otherwise, he is a Guitarist, Graphic Designer (for his own Commercial/Non Commercial projects) & Wannabe Start-Up Entrepreneur.

Atul Goel: A guy who sleeps, eats and drinks numbers, over obsessed with analytics and software, has spent the last 3 years of his life living it. Initially an analytics executive at SAS Research Center, Pune and currently working with TARGET, Bangalore as a Analytics Manager, he is innovating and fine tuning his analytics skills every single day. He was the only representative selected from India to SAS Conference in USA (2009) presenting his research papers in front of some of the most renowned name from Fortune 500 companies.
He is currently experimenting his skills to predict trends & content (what content is well accepted and why/Industry Specific) on social media while he is also keen on measuring consumer sentiments once a user is exposed to a brand on social media or social media campaign.
We are looking forward to voice every single idea from every single person who believes in the concept of Branding and Digital Storytelling on social media.
